THE dinghy class captain ROLE:

Class captains act as ambassadors for their fleet. They aim to encourage active sailing and grow participation in the classes they represent. The class captains are not DOSC Committee Members but they are in close contact with the Committee Dinghy Adviser position and the Sailing Subcommittee.

1 |

Promote class events, such as races, training, social sails and get-togethers.

2 |

Introduce new members to the fleet.

3 |

Be aware of boats for sale and potential buyers.
