CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

General Conditions

Entry into the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (“DOSC”) is subject to the following General Conditions of Entry (“General Conditions”) which may change at any time at the discretion of DOSC Management. 

Access

• DOSC access is only permitted to those who are in possession of a valid membership card or day membership pass. Any child, below 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult/parent aged 18 or over.

• The accompanying parent/adult hereby represents that he/she has consented to the child’s participation and/or attendance at any event/activity at Dubai Offshore Sailing Club and accepts these Conditions of Entry. Such adult/parent takes full responsibility for that child.
• Dubai Offshore Sailing Club reserves the right, without refund or compensation, to;
  • Refuse admission / evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly / inappropriate or who poses a threat to the security or enjoyment of other members, staff or guests.
  • Refuse entry of items which have the potential to cause injury or public nuisance.
• Smoking inside the DOSC Clubhouse is prohibited. This includes E cigarettes, vapes and other electronic imitations or simulation devices. Designated smoking areas are available around the Club.

Filming and Photography

 There will be filming, photography and recording at all Dubai Offshore Sailing Club events/activities.

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of payment, disclaimer of liability and release of all recording, filming, and photography before attending the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (or surrounding DOSC Premises).

When you enter the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club, you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording will occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media or for any other purpose by the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club Management and its affiliates and representatives.

Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar DOSC events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of DOSC. 

You release the DOSC, including any of its employees and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.

You hereby waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, social media, advertising, web casting, televising or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video or audio recording taken by Dubai Offshore Sailing Club, DOSC or the person or entity designated on behalf of DOSC.

Dubai Offshore Sailing Club Management advises that you may be recorded on either commercial broadcast or CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) upon entry and throughout DOSC and surrounding forecourt for safety and security purposes.
