The passion and dedication exhibited by our members is what makes DOSC so special, and we want to keep it that way. The requirement to accrue annual membership activity points has been introduced to encourage our membership to engage in the large number of DOSC organised activities our community has to offer.Â
As of the 1st April 2022, each voting member* will be required to individually log 6 activity points per membership year in order to qualify for renewal.Â
Annual membership activity points may be logged for any of the below listed activities.Â

Training at DOSC Sailing School | 1 per day (maximum 2) | DOSC Personnel / Instructor |
Volunteering | 1 per day volunteered | DOSC Personnel / Sailability Lead |
Attendance at DOSC Member’s Night | 1 per member’s night attended | DOSC Personnel |
Annual Membership Activity Points should be logged on the card available from reception. This card may be handed back to reception at any point during the membership year once your 6 points have been completed.Â
 Failure to log 6 points during the year may lead to sanctions in line with DOSC’s constitution.Â
*This excludes Emirati, Honorary, Life and those members with a joining date of full/voting membership prior to 1st April 2007.Â
