CRUISING ADVENTURES
DUBAI OFFSHORE SAILING CLUB
CRUISING ADVENTURES
DOSC organises day, overnight and longer cruising rallies for keelboats in UAE waters.Â
Open to both existing DOSC members and their guests, and those with a DOSC membership application under process, we welcome all kinds of keelboats and sailors of all levels of experience to join us for our events. Our rallies focus on safe, sociable and fun sailing activities for the whole family, and are a great way to meet and socialise with likeminded sailors. For novices and less experienced sailors, it also offers the opportunity to learn from more experienced sailing veterans in the cruising flotilla.
Our cruises run at least once per month throughout the cooler months, from around October to April.

DESTINATIONS
WORLD ISLANDS, DUBAI, UAE
ANTARTICA
If getting back to basics and feeling at one with nature is your thing, you’ll love Antartica. Located a mere four kilometres offshore from Dubai, Antartica is part of The World Islands, a man-made archipelago of 300 small islands constructed in the shape of a world map.
So far undeveloped, Antartica has nothing but sand, sea, the sound of birds soaring overhead and a great view of Dubai’s iconic skyline. A great spot to drop anchor and relax you can swim, paddle board or kayak in the sheltered waters of Antartica’s bay. Just be sure to stock up with provisions before you set sail as the island has no facilities whatsoever.
You first need to register with Nakheel. Just download the Guidelines here, fill in the information required, sign and submit a scanned copy along with copies of your registration and insurance documents via email.
Once your registration is confirmed, to visit the World Islands all you need to do is contact Nakheel via email stating the DP number and the date on which you intend to visit. Once you have received confirmation from Nakheel, you’re good to go.

LEBANON ISLAND BEACH CLUB
A short 5km sail away from the Dubai coastline and situated in the middle of the World Islands development, the route to Lebanon Island takes you past the (currently) deserted islands of South America, North Africa and Southern Europe.
Once you arrive at the Island’s private jetty and moor up, you’re free to explore the expanse of the private beach club. Spanning around 500,000 square feet, the facilities include two separate beaches, one of which has a stunning view of the Dubai skyline and a sheltered bay perfect for kayaking (available for guests to use). There is also a chilled swimming pool, two licensed bars and waiter service directly to your sun lounger. Private cabanas and chalets are available at an additional cost.Â
