By applying for membership at DOSC and/or participating in DOSC-affiliated activities, whether on or off the official DOSC premises, I hereby grant DOSC, on behalf of myself, my family, including my child(ren), and/or my guests the irrevocable right and permission to photograph and/or record me, my family, my child(ren) and/or my guests and to use the photograph(s) and/or recording(s) for any purpose as determined by DOSC at its sole discretion. I waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the photograph(s) and/or recording(s), as well as any rights that I may have regarding the photograph(s) and/or recording(s) that may arise now, in the past or in the future. I acknowledge and agree that the rights granted in this release are without compensation.

For the benefit of all DOSC members and staff, DOSC is implementing a new procedure that will display all our Probationary members turning into full voting members on the DOSC notice board. This will allow everyone to recognize new faces and, as needed, introduce new members to existing members. We hope that the Notice Board will be reviewed by members looking for new crew and probationary members being able to introduce themselves. We would like, with your permission, to post up your picture along with a short sailing bio about yourself. You do not have to include your contact details, but it may help other members to be able to contact you.

If accepted,I will abide by the rules of Dubai and the rules of the Club as described in the DOSC Constitution and also Operational Procedures and ensure that my family, including my child(ren), and/or my guests do likewise. I understand that I am fully responsible for all liabilities, claims of causes of action arising from or in connection with any damage or injury caused to third parties myself, my family, including my child(ren), and/or my guests. I indemnify DOSC, its officers, employees, agents and other members from and against my liabilities, claims or causes of action which are in excess of the cover provided by my/our insurance.
