With the summer temperatures starting to soar, Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) is pleased to announce the return of the Back to the Front sailing program. This year, the program will be in hybrid form, allowing you to opt to either join online or be present in person.
Back to the Front Seminars
The season kicked off with our popular Back to the Front Seminar series, with the first event having taken place on Monday, 7th June with Chris and Mitch catching up with two of last season’s guest speakers, race pros Rob Bunce and Trystan Seal.
Both having just hit the dock following the first leg of Ocean Race Europe, Rob is a trimmer on board Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team VOR65, while Trystan is bowman onboard AksoNobel Ocean Racing. We got the low down on a tough Leg 1, the new A4 spinnakers, more young sailors in the fleet and what they both expect from the rest of the race.
Next event will be taking place on 05 July.
Virtual Regatta eSailing series
Join us for an in-person geek session at Tentola Thanda or from the comfort of your home. Even if you’re not keen on playing yourself, come join us to watch the virtual racing action live on the big screen with our very own Mitch Webb providing a lively commentary. Check the news section on the DOSC website for the upcoming schedule.

We will also be showing key sailing race events on the big screen in Tentola Thanda. Expect a lively crowd, F&B specials and a great atmosphere! Join in on 17th and 18th July for Great Britain and 20th to 21st August for Denmark. Times and more information will be shared closer to each date.
