Dear Skippers and Crew,
We would like to invite you to the first D2M ‘Talk and Q&A’ session for the Aramex Dubai to Muscat Offshore Sailing Race 2025 on Monday, 30 September 2024, from 7PM in the Loft at DOSC.
The meeting format is changed this year with 3 distinct parts to the evening.
Roughly 7:15 – 8pm (for all crews)
- Part 1: Summary of minor changes to the ‘standard’ D2M race format. For more experienced D2M crews
- Part 2: Tactics for rounding the Musandam in challenging weather. Discussion and Q&A for all entrants
Roughly 8pm onwards – for crews new to the D2M
- Part 3: Detailed D2M presentation and discussion. Q&A with experienced D2M skippers
Other things to know:
- The D2M website has been revised over the summer and is now live for entries. The main upgrade is an online payment system for your boat and crew fees.
- The deadline for the Super Early Bird entry of AED 2,000 expires at 21:30 on September 30th. The entry fee is then AED 3,000 until 1st February 2025.
