It’s D2K, 3rd Edition!
Dear Skippers & Crew,
We are pleased to announce the 3rd Edition of the Dubai to Khasab Race (D2K) for 2025.
Arrangements remain the same as last year for both mono- and multi-hull classes, with berthing at the Khasab Coastguard Wharf using the same tourist dhows. The distance is approximately 90 NM and may be extended slightly depending on weather. There is no title sponsor this year but we are fully supported by the Musandam Governor’s Office.
1. Entry
- Entry is open to IRC and Multihull class only. Monohulls without an IRC wishing to enter may do so on the basis they obtain and IRC certificate prior the race.
- Any boats wishing to enter should apply by email to: sailingadmin@doscuae.com by 21:30 on Sunday 2nd November 2025.
- Please include your name, boat name, class, IRC TCC (if you have one) and a preliminary crew list with names and passport details. The draft crew list is required as Khasab is closed on a Friday and preparations need to be made on Thursday. Any final crew changes can still be made by the deadline of 12:00 on Friday 7th.

The following documents must be submitted by 12:00 on Friday, 7 November:
- Race declaration signed by skipper
- Copy of boat registration card and photo of the boat
- Signed crew form including shoreside contact
- One page per skipper and crew member containing scans of passport, UAE visa, and Emirates ID
- Oman visa
