Let’s Go Racing
After meeting the crew and skipper, you’ll help prepare Doubleknot (Beneteau First 40.7) ready for the days racing. The skipper will run through the sheets and halyards that’ll be used to control the sails and the different roles the crew will take part in doing. As a team you will enter the Keelboat Commodores Cup Racing and line up in IRC Division 1.
Introduction to Race
This 1 day course is aimed at sailors who want to learn and improve both upwind and downwin sail trimming skills. Rigging, hoisting, trimming, tacking, gybing and dropping sails will all be repeated and improved onboard Doubleknot (Beneteau First 40.7).
Spinnakers Course
This 2 day course is aimed at sailors who want to learn and improve their spinnaker handling skills. Rigging, hoisting, trimming, gybing and dropping will all be repeated and improved onboard Doubleknot (Beneteau First 40.7)
Airbus Regatta Race Day
After meeting the crew and skipper, you’ll help prepare Doubleknot (Beneteau First 40.7) ready for the days racing. The skipper will run through the sheets and halyards that’ll be used to control the sails and the different roles the crew will take part in doing. As a team you will enter the Airbus Regatta and line up in IRC Division 1.
