DOSC welcomes members and visitors to a fun-filled open day on 10th September 2022, where everyone can take to the water and learn more about the Sailing School. The event is free and open to all; there will be no gate fee!
There will be a variety of family-friendly activities available throughout the day, including a variety of dinghies available to take for a test sail and taster sessions for those not comfortable sailing alone.

Mikey Brignall, DOSC’s Chief Dinghy Instructor, noted that the open day is about exploring the options available within the sailing world, stating: “As the sailing season begins, we’d like to invite everyone to come and try the variety available at the school. We’ll have lots of equipment ready to go, so bring your swimmers, suncream, and try out whatever you fancy!”
