Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management has published a new mandate to help combat the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in the emirate.Â
Effective immediately, tables in restaurants and cafes will be at a distance of three metres (previously two metres) and a maximum of seven people (previously ten) per table is allowed. Live entertainment has also been suspended until further notice; specifically, this applies to all live activities by performers, bands and DJs at clubs, restaurants, on board vessels and on floating restaurants.Â
In addition, weddings, social events, and private parties are restricted to a total of 10 people, all of whom must be first-degree relatives. Effective from 27th January, these new restrictions apply to events inside and outside the home.Â
These preventive measures and health protocols have been adopted immediately by Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC).Â
In order to accommodate demand whilst ensuring full adherence with the regulations, Tentola will be open every day, serving a full a la carte menu and specials. Opening hours for Tentola will be:Â
- from 5pm to 11pm from Sunday to Wednesday
- 1pm to 12am on Thursday
- 9am to 12am on Friday and Saturday.
We urge all DOSC Members and their guests to comply in full with all the applicable restrictions, whilst also adhering to all the guidelines. It is now more important than ever for us to work together to combat the continued threat posed to us all by the COVID-19 pandemic.
