To mark the UAE’s National Day on Saturday 02 December, please join us in celebrating the occasion with a Parade of Sail, consisting of a cruise from DOSC to the Burj Al Arab.
If you’ve not joined a Parade of Sail before, it is a fun way to celebrate important occasions by simply sailing in a line to a destination and back with boats decorated in the theme of the event, in this case, the United Arab Emirates National Day Celebrations.
We will assemble at 2:00pm outside the DOSC harbour before sailing down to the Burj Al Arab and returning back to DOSC in a loose formation. Communication will be on VHF channel 72.
Boats will be presented with a Commemorative Flag (collected from reception) to display during the parade and keep as a souvenir. Prizes will also be given to the top 10 best-dressed boats!
