New to DOSC this season is a five day October half-term course. This course is aimed at young enthusiastic sailors who want to get the sailing season off to a big start.
Students will be with the same instructors all week for continuity. Five days of teaching will give most students the opportunity to complete 2 whole RYA Stage certificates, so this is a great chance to make some big leaps in competence and confidence early on in the sailing season. With a capacity of 50 sailors across 5 groups, this will also be a really great opportunity to meet new friends.
For the older and more experienced young sailors, there is a Dinghy Instructor Course running this same week.

1. Junior Beginners – Age 7 to 10 – Courses covered RYA Stage 1 & 2 (Pre Course Experience – No experience or Stage 1)
2. Youth Beginners – Age 11 to 15 – Courses Covered RYA Stage 1 & 2 (Pre Course Experience – No experience or Stage 1)
3. Intermediate – Age 11 to 15 – Courses Covered RYA Stage 3 & 4 (Pre Course Experience – Stage 2 required) SOLD OUT
4. Improver – Age 11 to 15 – Courses Covered RYA Stage 4 & DOSC Improver (Pre Course Experience – Stage 3 Required)
5. Start Racing – Age 12+ – Courses Covered RYA Start Racing – (Pre Course Experience – Stage 4 Required)
